We believe in preventive dentistry and understand your concerns about your children's oral health. For kids, and as part of their first visit, our dentists perform a comprehensive examination and provide oral hygiene instructions - including brushing and flossing - and advise how to keep teeth cavity-free.
Our dentists also educate on nutrition, the role of fluoride and how it helps fight cavities. We advise parents on fissure sealants - a protective coating applied to the grooves of the teeth to help prevent cavities. The grooves on the top of the molars are harder to clean, so sealants help stop bacteria building up and causing decay.
Early intervention and examination also help ensure the permanent teeth below the gum have enough space to erupt properly, and determine whether a space maintainer is required to prevent crowding.
We provide bulk-billed dental services for eligible patients. The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a Government initiative providing $1,158 of dental benefits to children aged 2 to 17 who meet the eligibility criteria. Children aged 2-17 who are eligible for Medicare and receive certain government payments may be eligible. This amount is valid every two calendar years and continues until the child turns 17.
